Serra de Santa Bárbara Interpretation Centre
The Serra de Santa Bárbara Interpretation Centre aims to be the starting point for the understanding of the natural heritage of Terceira Nature Park.
Here, visitors can discover the geomorphological process of the island’s formation and evolution and its relation to areas of high interest in terms of biodiversity and geodiversity.
They will also have the opportunity to “travel” to the past to understand the influence of the human interaction with the environment, with emphasis on the use, throughout centuries, of the areas that currently belong to the Park.
The Centre also provides support information to visit and discover the Nature Park.
