Manuel Coelho Baptista de Lima Military History Center
The Manuel Coelho Baptista de Lima Military History Center, housed in the former Military Hospital of Boa Nova, hosts the remarkable Militar Collection of the Angra do Heroísmo Museum, being the only Portuguese museum not included in the Ministry of Defense, subordinate to this theme, In which the three branches of the Armed Forces are represented, as well as the National Republican Guard and the Public Security Police.
