The Império do Espírito Santo da Urbanização de São Pedro, located in the parish of Santa Cruz, municipality of Praia da Vitória, was built by the Municipal Council in the first decade of the 21st century, replacing a previous building erected in 1973. It celebrates the feast of the Divine Holy Spirit in June/July, near June 29, the day of St. Peter. The festivities begin with the transfer of the crown to the empire, followed by evening prayers. During the week, meals are offered to the brothers and the needy. On the feast day, there is a procession to the church with music and a solemn mass. At night, there are lights and auctions, and the next leaders of the empire are drawn.
